ABOUT US?
Tramarte is a design studio that was born from the love of textiles and the appreciation of handmade processes; we create pieces with meaning, where each one of them tells a story through weaving. In each process we seek to innovate in design and at the same time maintain our roots as Mexican.
Each design is planned methodically, taking into account the needs of our clients. Using ancestral knowledge such as dyeing and making natural fibers, we collaborate with artisans from different regions of the country, such as Mexico City and Teotitlán del Valle. Thanks to this, we can reach the best result through constant feedback.
En Tramarte, cuidamos de cada parte del proceso, colaborando con artesanos de Teotitlán del Valle, expertos en el telar de pedal. Buscamos llenar los espacios con piezas trascendentes, desde cojines y tapices, hasta tapetes y mantelería. Siempre buscando innovar con nuestros diseños y materiales, pero al mismo tiempo respetar nuestra herencia mexicana.

La colaboración y la preservación de las técnicas artesanales son pilares esenciales en este proyecto. Es por eso que buscamos trabajar con gente dedicada, que genera trabajos dignos en su comunidad y que por medio del textil podamos todos encontrar un lenguaje común que es el amor por lo hecho a mano.
